Nice to meet you?

I see other people as an extension of my self. I like the person I am. Integrity, honesty and love are high on the list of how I treat myself and therefore how I respect other people. Sure there is understanding and compassion for the parts of myself that need a little extra care.
I am a practical person. One thing at a time, step by step through life. I love all things nature. I see it as the only thing that connects our soul.
I practice Chi Gong, a oriental energetic martial art and meditation I have practiced and explored for many years.

Distinguished and Famous people from Kimba District

🏅 Corey Enright

Corey Enright’s journey from Kimba to Geelong became one of Australian football’s quietly remarkable success stories. Selected at pick 47 in the 1999 draft, he developed into a dependable, attacking defender rather than arriving as a heavily advertised first pick. He played in Geelong’s premiership teams of 2007, 2009 and 2011 and earned six All-Australian selections. His induction into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2023 recognised that long record of consistency. Enright has joked about the difficulty of being discovered as a promising player from a small town; Kimba nevertheless supplied the junior football beginning for a career at the centre of one of the league’s strongest eras.

🎨 Cam Scale

Artist Cam Scale gave Kimba one of its most recognisable public landmarks when he painted the grain silos in September 2017. The project took 26 days and about 200 litres of paint, transforming working grain infrastructure into an enormous outdoor artwork. It formed part of the community-driven Igniting Kimba Arts Program, with support from local donors and arts organisations. His local contribution is this commissioned work. The project also connects the district’s agricultural identity with a newer visitor economy: the buildings that store the harvest became a reason for travellers to stop and look.
